1992 - Mini Cooper 1.3i French circulation title Chassis n°SAXXNNAYNBD041373 - The charm of England on four wheels - Chic and generous Cooper in sporty sensations - 4th hand with 82800 original km - Car has been serviced, new exhaust system This is a car that needs no introduction. It was originally designed in the late 1950's by the British Motor Corporation based on a proposal by Alec Issigonis, who didn't yet know the imprint he would leave on popular culture. Fully anchored in the pop movement of which it will be the iconic car, the Mini will become one of the symbols of the swinging sixties, alongside the Beatles, pop-rock and miniskirts. The stars were all over it, it appeared in countless British films and the Mini became the automotive synonym of cool. The car is exported everywhere and the versions multiply. It is a real phenomenon. If the first Minis are only powered by a modest 4-cylinder engine of 850 cm3, the model is then entitled to versions clearly focused on sport. This is how the myth of the Cooper was born, named after the engineer who revealed its true potential. The first Coopers received a new 996cc engine and new brakes. With the growing success of the racers, BMC pushed the design of the little car to its limits. The engine capacity was increased to 1078 cc for the Cooper S, which won its first Monte Carlo Rally in 1964. In 1965, the Cooper S 1300 appeared with an engine developing 90 horsepower. It also arrives at the top of the prestigious race and meets then its greatest glory in motor sport. The Mini's career was exceptionally long and, after being produced by several manufacturers such as Morris and Austin, Mini became its own brand in 1969. In 1971, the agreements between British Leyland and John Cooper ended. The Cooper is produced until 1971. It did not reappear until 1990 in a carbureted version, then fuel injection followed a few years later. Following the acquisition of Mini by BMW in 1994, the end is near for the Cooper and the last one is sold in 1997. The last "Classic Mini" is sold in 2000 after a career as rich as cultural. The car we offer for sale is a Mini Cooper of 1992, equipped with the 1300 engine with electronic injection developing 63 horsepower. This engine, with a weight limited to about 700 kilos and a direct touch of the road, is enough to provide real sports sensations! It is offered in a timeless British Racing Green color with white roof and mirrors, combined with an interior in black leatherette and fabric with red piping, reminiscent of the red carpets. The car also has additional headlights, fender flares and Minilite aluminum wheels, which are characteristic of this version with a particularly refined look. It is also equipped with chrome bull bars, which are very useful for its protection. This Mini has known only 4 owners since it left the factory and its file allows to affirm that its 82800 kilometers are original. The car has been regularly maintained and benefits from a new exhaust system. Even if a few corrosion spots may have appeared, the paint seems never to have been redone and has kept its shine. The interior is also well preserved. As the queen of the cities and as such a commonly used vehicle, few examples have been given some attention. It will make up for its few wrinkles with a road manners not found on contemporary cars. Because this is a genuine Cooper, which is presented today in its original condition as a true youngtimer with an inimitable style, one of the only ones of its kind from England. 1992 - Mini Cooper 1.3i French circulation title Chassis n°SAXXNNAYNBD041373 - The charm of England on four wheels - Chic and generous Cooper in sporty sensations - 4th hand with 82800 original km - Car has been serviced, new exhaust system
