Large statuette of Harpocrates-Horus wearing a large crown topped by the pschent surrounded by two buds. He is seated on a horse and holds in his left hand a torch (?) and his right hand a coat hook (?). Red-brown terracotta with remains of white slip. Missing a front leg and the horse's head, wear and tear. Roman period, Alexandria workshop, c. 30 BC - 395 AD. H. Approx. 22 cm. Bears an antique label "57" and an inscription in ink "P.T. 000". Similar examples in the Louvre Museum (n°E20605, E236580) Provenance : collection of M. B. (Lyon)
