A series of varnishes on transparent celluloid for textile printing, in orange, sepia and black Circa 1900-1910. Including flowers, mignonettes, geometric motifs and paisleys for dresses and shawls in approximately 70 pieces (18 x 28 cm on average). Includes 11 color photo plates of textile motifs. From the archives of Jean-Louis Lhopital, designer in Lyon, 17 Rue Royale between 1920 and 1940. Yellowing, blemishes, small stains and tears.
