Documentation on Indiennes and gouaches from cloth printing factories, including the book Toiles de Jouy, Toiles Peintes, collection de Paul Vignon published by Armand Guérinet around 1920. 39 lithographed and documented plates of historiated canvases, Indian flowers, mignonettes (30 x 40 cm, incomplete). Enclosed are samples of gouaches and reproductions of 19th-century Indiennes, including 8 large formats (27 x 36 cm) and a dozen small formats (24 x 18 cm). From the archives of Jean-Louis Lhopital, designer in Lyon, 17 Rue Royale between 1920 and 1940. All the plates have been detached for documentation and inspiration, to form themes (yellowing, blemishes, small stains and tears).
