Documentation on Japonism and Chinoiserie circa 1930-40, in three binders of lithographs and reproductions from three incomplete books, 60 paintings on silk, Japanese and Chinese decorations, Japanese stencils & watercolors, for around 200 to 300 pieces presented in 30 x 40 cm format. Including a dozen original prints. From the archives of Jean-Louis Lhopital, draughtsman in Lyon, 17 Rue Royale between 1920 and 1940. All the plates have been detached for documentation and inspiration, to form themes (yellowing, blemishes, small stains and tears).
