On the theme of Art Deco and Japonisme, a binder of textile samples circa 1930-40, some inspired by Raoul Dufy. Printed crepes and cottons, brocades, lamés, velours dévoré, brocades, printed on warp, in 40 sheets for 150 samples measuring approx. 25 x 15 cm. Also included are some 50 color lithographs from an album entitled Documents pour le dessin industriel by Gilot, 79 Rue Madame, Paris (32 x 45 cm). From the archives of Jean-Louis Lhopital, designer in Lyon, 17 Rue Royale between 1920 and 1940. All book plates for documentation and inspiration have been detached to form themes (yellowing, blemishes, small stains and tears).
