Two quilted bed slopes or bonne grâce in fluted brocaded lampas, Louis XV period, circa 1750. Three different lampas on a satin background in shades of golden yellow, sky, bistre and spinach green. These patchwork compositions for furniture were common in the 18th century. Later red satin borders and cream satinette lining. 300 x 39 cm each. Good structural condition and beautiful polychromy despite some fly-staining.
