Two Alsatian emboitant bonnets from the 18th and 19th centuries. The larger one in late 18th-century lampas edged with a cream gros de Tours ground with undulating scrolls of flowers au naturel and silver bobbin lace. Indigo cotton lining and cotton passe des Indes and lace. Slight dusting and needle holes on the passe. Good condition. Head circumference 54 cm, silver lace 6 cm. the second 19th-century black velvet embroidered with gold filés, cannetilles and sequins with black chenillettes lace and taffeta ribbon. Unbleached cotton lining (slightly soiled). Beautiful condition. Head circumference 40 cm, ribbon 60 cm.
