Five mid-nineteenth-century regional headdresses in embroidered muslin and cheek-covering basin. The most spectacular has a large bonnet embroidered in knot stitch and pastel stitch, openworked with tulle, possibly from Sarthe (?). Two others are piped and plumetis-embroidered with tulle passes. One in basin with tulle flounce and the last in embroidered muslin with pleated work framing the face. Good overall condition.
