Four regional headdresses from the last quarter of the 19th - Lot 163
Four regional headdresses from the last quarter of the 19th century, including a spectacular beak headdress with very long beards of moire ribbons with tapered edges and a bonnet embroidered with gold thread on crimson velvet. A Savoyard "frontière" headdress, in cardboard velvet applied with gold ribbons, and a black taffeta bonnet with a ruche of lace and waxed ribbons. The last is a Dijon headdress in Burgundy, with a black taupe bibi topped with ribboned hoops. All in remarkable condition.
