White cotton twill ceremonial vest embroidered with silver-spun blades, Late 18th century. Straight, slim-fitting cut, small turned-up collar with turned-down points and two flap pockets. Embroidery of seedlings and undulating plant stems (several threads pulled), complete with 14 buttons. Lining and back in ecru Ratine peluche (a slight halo on the neck). The back was cut later, probably for an Amazon. Clean and flawless. Good condition. Height 64 cm, shoulders 40 cm, chest 93 cm, waist 83 cm.
