Rare double-pointed Indian shawl with finely espolined boteh borders and turquoise pashmina background, Compagnie des Indes pour la mode en Europe Circa 1800-1820. Square shawl composed of two wide sewn borders with three rows of vases surmounted by inclined, flowery botehs, dating from the 18th century Mughal period. Turquoise Indian pashmina twill background with embroidered tapered borders, signature of the Indian craftsman. Few tiny moth holes and two or three small, very discreet halos. Very fine condition in terms of color and conservation for its age. 157 cm x 157 cm.
