Spectacular Second Empire falbalas day bodice for grande crinoline, in superimposed white embroidered chiffon and almond green organza Circa 1855. Ribbed, pointed bodice with large round basques, oval neckline with front stapling and two large green organza bows. Large falbalas highlight the bust, basques and short sleeves with pagoda effect. Consisting of a double row of shaped green organza ribbons mounted in box pleats, white muslin ruffles embroidered with undulating ribbons and adorned with a small ruche of green ribbons. Silk pongee lining with padded chest. Beautiful hand-stitching. Few microholes and light dusting. Very good condition given the structural fragility of the materials. Shoulder 45 cm, waist 65 cm, chest 91 cm, height 72 cm, sleeves 31 cm, hips 140 cm.
