Second Empire ball bodice in black silk velvet Circa 1865. High waist with large décolleté held in place by two straps adorned with black velvet ribbon. Lace-up eyelet front closure. Lined with striped cotton chintz. Good condition. Shoulders 36 cm, chest 88 cm, height 36 cm. Attached is a disassembled white batiste petticoat for a large crinoline with very fine entre-deux work and religious pleating. Very fine condition. Height 136 cm, underskirt 310 cm.
