A ceremonial vest in cream silk fashioned with small diamonds on a twill ground with a quilted effect Circa 1880. Fitted high-waisted cut with four pockets and scalloped flap collar. Closes with four checkered buttons. Cream wool twill back (small gaps at top). Clean and good condition. Equivalent to men's size 52. Shoulders 47 cm, chest 103 cm, height 55 cm, waist 95 cm. Attached is a vest from the same period in finely embroidered cream silk façonné. Gaps on the back, stains on the front.
