A large blaude/Biaude in midnight-blue indigo-dyed glacé linen, Circa 1900. A popular blouse worn by working men in the French regions. Wide cut, finely pleated collar and buttoned front opening with two side pockets. Puff sleeves tightened at the cuffs. Complete with thirteen pearly buttons. Little or no washing. Exceptional condition. Flat: height 107 cm, shoulders 69 cm, sleeves 54 cm, bottom circumference 260 cm.
