Historisciste day dress, for tournure or pouff, in lie de vin silk damask signed F. Bourguignon Circa 1985-1890. Japanese-inspired damask decoration with flowering branches. Two-piece dress, Louis XIII-style whalebone bodice, sleeves with crevices and jabot adorned with mechanical lace, stapled on the front. Volume skirt at back. Rust stains and small gaps on the cream silk ruffle inside and on the skirt. Average condition, but beautifully presented. Large size. Height 146 cm, shoulders 36 cm, chest 110 cm, waist 90 cm, sleeves 44 cm, hips 130 cm.
