Summer day dress in grey linen voile with falbalas and small Pouff, in an S-shaped silhouette dating from the Belle Epoque, circa 1895. Two-piece dress, whalebone bodice, long pleated sleeves with small gigot and mittened cuffs. Officer's collar with black taffeta braid at the neck, stapling at the back and illegible claw of a large sign engraved on the inside waistband on a cream grosgrain (gold medal at a world's fair). Bodice bouillonné at the shoulders, underlined by ruffles with fine black velvet ribbons, and echoed on the bust with lace criss-crosses and entre-deuxes. Long, ruffled skirt with mini-traine, pleated at the waist and stapled at the back. Few tiny holes and slight traces of rust (not very visible) at the bottom of the skirt. Black velvet ribbons to be applied to the skirt are included. Good overall condition. Bodice: shoulder 31 cm, waist 65 cm, chest 89 cm, sleeves 74 cm. Skirt: height 100 cm, waist 67 cm, skirt circumference 472 cm.
