Bar skirt suit in black lustrous faille, signed Falbalas, 53 Rue de Lyon Paris Circa 1945-1948. Fitted jacket, three-quarter-length sleeves with turned-down tips, lined with ivory taffeta. Large triangle pockets emphasize the "hipped" waist. Straight skirt with back slit and zip, lined in black taffeta. Yellowing to lining, no holes or stains. Very good condition. Equivalent to size 40. Jacket: height 63 cm, chest 98 cm, waist 80 cm, sleeves 46 cm. Skirt: height 63 cm, waist 70 cm, hips 97 cm.
