Haute Couture evening gown by Maison Bruyère, 22 place Vendôme, in densely embroidered champagne duchesse satin Circa 1950. Sleeveless dress, bare back with large asymmetrical neckline and 180° sun skirt adorned with a rhinestone cabochon cluster. Majestic embroidery of rhinestones, glass beads, cordon appliqués and cascading mother-of-pearl discs. This remarkable work, treated as an asymmetrical fern with large flowers and beaded pistils, is by Atelier Rébé or Maison Lesage. Side zipper, no lining. Few pearls missing, but no major flaws, holes or stains. Good overall structural condition. Size 38-40 equivalent. Height 141 cm, chest 93 cm, waist 78 cm, hip amplitude 141 cm.
