The Société des Touristes du Dauphiné (STD) is a Grenoble-based mountain club founded on May 24, 1875, and a member of the Fédération Française de la Montagne et de l'Escalade (French Mountain and Climbing Federation), offering a range of mountaineering, climbing, ski touring and hiking activities. The STD was the first alpine association to build a refuge in the Alps, with the Belledonne refuge built on Lac de Belledonne. The refuge has been in ruins since the First World War. For many years, it was chaired by Henri Ferrand. Today, the STD manages five refuges: Jean Collet in Belledonne, La Fare in the Grandes Rousses, and Adèle Planchard, La Selle and Le Soreiller in the Écrins. Abbé Laurent Guétal, a landscape painter from the Dauphiné region, was one of STD's first members. 7 volumes, some on laid paper and in uniform bindings, for the years 1877 - 1878 - 1879-80 - 1882 - 1883-84 - 1887-89 - 1890.
