One volume in-folio, full contemporary purple velvet binding, ornate gilt metal spandrels, trace of clasp, all edges gilt. 1f. title, 80 pp. First edition illustrated with a frontispiece and 10 two-tone lithographed plates by F. Lehnert. They show springs, thermal baths, Cusset square (figures and stagecoach), a mill on the banks of the Sichon, Randan castle, Châteldon... Bad binding, scattered foxing.
