The slipcase is damaged, but the copy is otherwise in perfect condition. The illustration comprises 54 full-page color lithographs, including 5 portraits and 48 variations on the fleur-de-lis, executed under the artist's direction by the ateliers Mourlot frères. All copies are identical, on Arches vellum. N°905 of 1230). Copy with MATISSE's autograph signature on the justification. A very fine copy of this book entirely composed by Henri Matisse on the theme of the fleur-de-lys.
