[Facsimile] The Moralized BIBLE from the Austrian National Library, codex Vindobonensis 2554. Study by Reiner HAUSSHERR. Paris, Philippe LEBAUD, 1973. Two volumes in slipcase. 25.5 by 34 cm. 94 pages for the explanatory text, bound in full yellow ochre percaline. Full crushed brown chagrin, boards covered with impressive medieval-style cold decoration. 68 unencumbered leaves. Tan leather wrappers. Excellent condition (some foxing inside the slipcase, not serious). Impressive quality of reproduction in color and gold for this facsimile on thick paper imitating vellum. Numbered 1899, from an edition of 3,000 copies (most held by public libraries). Quality facsimiles are the only way to have such works in your library...
