Paris, Abel L'Angelier, 1611. One volume. 16.5 by 23 cm. (24)-632-(8) pages. Full period binding with damaged spines and spines. Bonn inside condition (old restoration on the last page of the table, no text missing). A few scattered stitches. Rare first edition of this famous book. Guy COQUILLE (1523-1603), jurist, was representative of the Third State at the General States of Orleans and Bois. There he fought for reforms to combat abuses and increase the rights of the people, "it is the people who make the loyalty". A copy whose binding is awaiting restoration.
