A set of two beautifully bound modern illustrated books: France (Anatole): Le Lys rouge. Thirty five soft varnishes in colors hors-texte by Omer BOUCHERY. Paris, Kra, 1925. One volume. 16 by 22 cm. (4)-297 pages. 35 hors-texts in colors (complete). Full red mosaic morocco, with a curtain pattern on the boards, large inner frame, silk guard with floral pattern, cover preserved, gilt head, lined case. Binding signed THOLLOT. Spine slightly darkened, small rubbing on a leather strip in basane on the boards, small defects on the case. Perfect condition inside (one leaf slightly creased in the corner). One of the numbered copies on Rives vellum (323). A beautiful copy of a sensitive illustration, in a very nice binding. With FRANCE (Anatole) : the Rotisserie of the Queen Pedauque. Illustrated with seventy-five watercolors by Guy de MONTABEL. Paris, KRA, 1925. One volume. 16 by 21,5 cm. (4)-281 pages. Full blue morocco mosaic patterned with small diamonds, smooth spine, cover preserved, large inner frame, silk endpapers with cloud pattern, lined case. Binding signed THOLLOT. Spine uniformly and slightly darkened. Small defects to the case, otherwise perfect condition. Perfect condition inside. Rich illustration of this famous text, in a superb binding. One of 750 copies on Rives vellum (N°674). Two works by Anatole France, by KRA, in bindings by the same artist
