(1)-title printed in red and black-378-(2) pages, with the publisher's catalog. Full 19th century blond calf, spine with five raised bands, richly decorated caissons, green title, black date and place of publication, triple fillet framing the boards, fillet on the spine, rich interior roulette, gilt head. Binding signed NIEDREE. Rubbing on the upper spine, otherwise perfect condition of the binding. Very rare foxing, otherwise excellent condition inside. Posthumous first edition. Ex-libris Dr de Manessier. This work was long attributed to Boulainvillers. Its author is actually Jean Le Laboureur (1623-1675) who was one of the great researchers of his time in the fields of history and genealogy.
