1964 - Porsche 356 C Coupé Karmann French... - Lot 130 - Richard Maison de ventes
1964 - Porsche 356 C Coupé Karmann French circulation title Chassis n° 215662 Karmann body n°215662 Engine n°P*710767* - Ultimate and advantageous C version, the most successful 356 - 75 horsepower engine and disc brakes - One owner in California from 1984 to 2021 - Restored mechanics - Recent paint of good quality - Chromed luggage rack Our Porsche 356 is an interesting C series in "Slate Grey" color with a black leatherette interior. This car was delivered on September 23, 1963 in the United States in an original ruby red color. It is a rare coupe version assembled by the coachbuilder Karmann. In accordance with its original configuration, it is equipped with a 1600 cc engine developing 75 horsepower and disc brakes. It is one of the most successful versions of all 356s, which makes it still very pleasant to drive on a daily basis. Its engine is from a production of the second half of the year 1963 and is corresponding to the Porsche archive certificate. Another rare fact for an American car: the history of this 356 is known since it belonged to the same owner from 1984 to 2021, this last one having preserved titles of circulation and insurance during all these years. After having been on the roads of California, the car has been imported in France by the Bretagne Roadster company, a specialist that we don't need to introduce anymore. The mechanics of this car has been restored a few years ago and the recent paint is very nice. The interior, in a superb state of conservation and with a magnificent patina, has been preserved. The car had 97455 miles on the day of our test drive, which gave us full satisfaction. Considering its condition and history, this consistent mileage probably corresponds to the actual mileage of the car, which is also quite appreciable. This Porsche 356 C, ready to hit the road, will transport its future owner back to the 1960's while giving him the pleasure of driving a true myth: qualities that will not depreciate its value for many years to come.
