Two Bresse "Cheminée" hats with their wallpaper boxes, second half of the 19th century. Four panels of bobbin lace with a fine pleated ruché on top, mounted on an iron frame with felt underneath. A chain applied as a pompom to a hat. They are dusty but have no major damage or snags, and the boxes are in poor condition. Diameters from 28 to 33 cm, heights pans 50 cm, chimney height approx. 18 cm. References, page 196 of "Costume, Coutume" Musée des Arts et Traditions Populaires 1987.
