A reconstruction of a rigid grand apparât body in brocade from the first half of the 18th century, with modern stitching and assembly. The body is whalebone and quilted, with two silver-spun silk brocades (micro-gaps), crenellated basques and ecru cotton lining. Eyelet lacing in the back. Good condition. Shoulders 35 cm, height 54 cm, chest 93 cm, waist 73 cm. An 18th-century re-enactment shirt in linen with modern laces (soiling and micro tears) is attached.
