A black wool Bar suit jacket by Jacques Fath for Couturiers associés, Paris Circa 1950. Fitted jacket with darts, long sleeves and fold-down point collar in shiny fluted silk ottoman. Crossed closure with eight black faceted buttons and cuffs. Hanchéed bottom with two flap pockets. Black satin lining. No damage. Very good condition. Height 59 cm, shoulders 44 cm, chest 89 cm, waist 69 cm, sleeves 51 cm, hips 89 cm. Jacques Fath was a member of the Couturiers associés, a group of Parisian designers dedicated to the democratization of haute couture.
