(vol. 1); 60-200 pages (vol. 2) and 120-24-103 pages + 1 blank f. (vol. 3). Contemporary full calf, spine with 5 ornate raised bands, red title-pieces, fine interior roulette. 4 damaged headpieces, minor superficial wear to spines, otherwise good condition. First and last leaves slightly foxed, otherwise very good condition inside. First edition. Willems, Les Elzevier, 15. "Going through the twenty thousand items of which this inventory is composed, one can get an idea of the importance of the Amsterdam Elzevier bookshop and the extent of its connections. But this is not the whole point of this document. What makes it exceptionally valuable, not so much for Elzevirian bibliography, since it comprises mainly assortment books, as for Dutch bibliography in general, is that the editor has taken the trouble to indicate the true address of most of the works published without a town name or with a supposed name. It is unfortunate that this rule has sometimes been departed from, either by deleting any kind of address, or by transcribing the address mentioned on the title." (Willems).
