(4) ff, XXIV, 522 pp., (1) f.; (2) ff, XVI, 564 pp. One cap and one corner damaged, slight rubbing and wear, old label at foot of volume I. Second edition, printed by Prault in Paris. This is a counterfeit of the original edition, with a single "r" in Barrillot's name on the title, and the same ciphering errors in the Preface as in the original. It appeared at the end of January 1749 (the princeps edition dates from October 1748). Ex-libris with COLBERT's coat of arms, Bibliothèque du Cannet.
