(4)-frontispiece-IV-139 pages. Grey half-percaline with corners, bradel. Illustrated covers preserved. The original work was in a pink silk slipcase, illustrated and fastened with straps. The slipcase was kept complete by the bookbinder. An original edition, with a highly original layout. With UZANNE (Octave): L'Eventail. Illustrations by Paul AVRIL. Paris, Quantin, 1882. One volume. 16.5 by 26 cm. (4)-144 pages. Contemporary green half-chagrin with corners, 5-rib spine. Spine oiled, a few freckles in the text. First edition, again with a fine layout. The two volumes complement each other in their themes and presentation.
