ALMANACH du Masque d'Or. Second year. 1922. Illustrated by Edouard HALOUZE. Paris, Au Masque d'Or, Devambez, 1922. One volume. 10.5 by 17.5 cm. (4)-108-(8)-(10)-(3) pages. Hardback covered in yellow silk with flower design, smooth spine with date, very fine endpaper. Spine lightened, silk worn on upper edges. Very good condition inside (two small light stains on one page, not serious). 4 color hors-texts by HALOUZE, as well as numerous black and color headbands and decorations in the text. The book includes 107 pages of light stories, the 12 months of the 1922 calendar and 9 plates of HALOUZE-illustrated advertisements for the major houses of the period. One of 500 copies on Van Gelder Zonen hollande (N°31). It's a pity that no publisher dares to publish such charming little books anymore....
