This collection was published by the lawyer Louis-Adrien Le Paige, "éminence grise of parliamentary Jansenism". The first text is known as the Grandes remontrances d'avril 1753 sur le refus de sacrements. It was written, according to Catherine Maire in De la cause de Dieu à la cause de la nation, p. 415, by Cl. G. Lambert for two-thirds, by Robert de Saint-Vincent and corrected by Le Paige, Cl. Mey and Christophe Coudrette.
The parts announced in the title, having a separate pagination, have often been described separately by bibliographers and editors of library catalogs.

Simon Hervieux de La Boissière anonymously published a Traité des miracles in 1763, to denounce the inclination of Jansenists to emphasize prophecies and miracles. Our work, attributed to Abbé Michel or Leclerc, a lawyer, is a Jansenist rejoinder to Hervieux's treatise, in which the latter is accused of providing weapons for the unbelievers.

Bourgeois et André, S.H.F. n° 3109.
This history covers the period 1643-1669.
"Some claim that this polemical book was written by Hilaire Dumas, doctor of the Sorbonne; others, that Dumas was simply the prête-nom of the king's confessor, the Jesuit Father Michel Le Tellier. Whatever the case, the writer promises to remain calm and impartial. He criticizes the works previously published by his opponents, denying them any historical value, and sets out to compose an accurate history that will finally shed light on the Jansenist question. The summary of events is set out clearly, methodically and with a genuine concern for impartiality. But then come six clarifications, where the tone changes, and it's these that provoke an ardent polemic." (S.
