Charity sale to benefit Etoiles FIlantes as part of Courchevel's Winter legacy event

Charity auction to benefit the Etoiles Filantes association.

This auction takes place as part of the Courchevel Winter legacy organized by Alexis PINTURAULT.

The sale is preceded by a dinner, starting at 11 pm.

All proceeds will be donated to the Association Les Etoiles Filantes.

L'Association loi 1901 '' Les Étoiles Filantes '' was born in 2019 following the discovery of Arthur's disease at the age of 5, a Glioma Infiltrant du Tronc Cérébral (GITC). Only 50 cases are diagnosed each year in France. This type of brain tumor is very rare, and mainly affects children between the ages of 5 and 15. To date, there is no effective treatment for this pediatric cancer. GITC is a rapidly evolving, unpredictable disease that is usually fatal within 9 to 12 months of discovery.

Supported by two exceptional godfathers and godmothers, Martin Fourcade (five-time Olympic biathlon champion) and Tessa Worley (two-time Alpine skiing world champion), the association

is active throughout France, focusing on three clearly defined missions:

- Make dreams come true for children with brain stem tumors.

- To provide human, material and financial assistance to the families of sick children.

- To support research into brain stem infiltrating gliomas.
