The lots offered at auction are used items, sold “as is,” with any signs of use, wear, imperfections, defects, or restorations.

The catalog descriptions are not exhaustive, and the absence of any mention of a defect does not imply that the lot is free of such defects.

It is the responsibility of each bidder to verify the condition of the lots during the pre-sale viewings or to request a condition report from contact@richardmdv.com no later than 24 hours before the sale.

Apparent defects, signs of use, or wear and tear that are normally to be expected in secondhand items do not, in and of themselves, justify cancellation of the sale or a claim for compensation. Restoration estimates prepared after the sale do not, in and of themselves, constitute grounds for a claim.
